VOLUNTEERS
Patrol Fri/Sat 20/03/15 started at 21h00 with 4 vehicles on the road from Surrey Estate and 1vehicle from
Greenhaven. Numerous individuals were frisked and knives confiscated for safe keeping resulting in a charge being laid at Manenberg Police station for theft against the volunteers. Volunteers were threatened yet the property
was returned to SAPS
Patrol
Sat/Sun 21/03/15 started quiet. We stopped Guys diceing in Klipfontein Road
from Pluto to Vanguard.
Pity about the older lady with them who seemed to have
a problem with this. She seemed to be encouraging this dangerous activity.
Areas became hectic after 2am and we were kept busy till 4am. Thanks again to
the same volunteers who sacrificed their families and sleep to assist us.
Still waiting for more recruits.

Patrol Sunday night 22/03/2015 Sheikh Irfaan preparing to voluntary patrol - always willing and playing his part.
African man identified for trying to brake in a house in Bronze Road Vanguard Estate and the next morning trying to rob people at Durr Road bridge Greenhaven . He has been caught a few minutes after the second incident. He is currently in jail at Manenburg saps. (23/03/2015)
